Salam alaik and good morning. Our topic today is about the pain receptor that lies beneath our skin.
Based from Surah An-Nisa, verse 56, Allah has stated that, those who are against His words, will be burnt in hell, until they are severely burnt. Then their skin is renewed again and again so that they will feel the pain because of their arrogance.
So logically, people who survived from fire incident, will have severely burnt skin. When they are taken to hospital, the doctors will carry out several tests to know if the victim's skin is still functioning well or not. If not, the doctors have to take the skin from the other parts of the body, for example, the thigh to replace the burnt skin.
They will prick the burnt skin with needles or other sharp and tiny objects and observe the victim's response. If the victim can feel the pain, that means the skin is still in good condition. If They don't feel the pain, that means the victim's skin is damaged, so it needs to be replaced.
So, when burning sinners in hell, it is no use to still burn them when the skin can not feel the pain anymore due to the absence of the pain receptor. Therefore their skin is renewed, again and again so that they can feel the pain again and again.
