slaughter the animals

Salam alaik and a good day for all of you.

Now we will discuss the slaughter in Islam. In Islam, we have to prepare a sharp knife to cut the neck of animals. The knife must be sharp to ensure that the animals will not suffer from being cut with a blunt knife. Cutting their neck using blunt knife is like torturing the animals before they die and it is prohibited in Islam.
Moreover, the animals will not be slaughtered in front of other animals. Therefore other animals that are waiting to be slaughtered will not be frightened. After cutting the main blood vessels of the animals, hot blood will let to flow out until we are convinced that the blood has flown out completely. Then only the flesh will be cut into smaller pieces.

This method is different from the modern method, which is, using captive bolts towards the animals to kill them. Moreover, the animals’ blood will stay in the body and clot. Therefore, even after the flesh has been cut into smaller pieces, the blood is still there.

As we all know, blood is the medium to transport every nutrient needed to our body cells. It also contains waste substances and other toxics to be transported to the kidneys. The kidneys will remove the waste substances after that. Since Islamic method requires Muslims to let the blood flow out completely, people who consume the meat will not get the toxics and other acidic materials from the animal’s body. But how about people who consume meat from animals that die because of the use of captive bolts?

The same thing goes to the prohibition of eating animals with claws, fangs or sharp beaks. Animals with these features are known to feed on other animals’ flesh. It is obvious that these predators contain a high amount of acidity in their blood. If we eat their meats, we get their high acidity. When our blood gets it, surely many complications will occur.
